The course consists of seven classes, one time a week.
The Course fee is 800 kr / 7 classes

* Salsa Teens och Salsa Kids consist of 14 lessons and the fee is 1200 kr
**Performance klassen consists of 14 lessons and the fee is 1600 kr/person. The course starts on week 32. During week 32,33 och 35 it will be two times a week, The rests of lessons will be one time a week. What day and time will be decided together with the participants of the course. The lessons are 1,5 hours long. The size of the course is limited to five couples.

LEVELS/COURSES

Beginner:
For the student that has no or little experience of salsa dancing. We start from the beginning with the basic steps of salsa on line and Cuban salsa. We continue with the basic turn patterns for both styles. The goal is to be able to dance to slow and normal salsa music. The student will learn the rhythm of salsa and being able to keep the rhythm while dancing. After completing this course you can choose to continue with salsa on line or Cuban salsa

Improver:
For the student that already knows and is comfortable with all the basic steps and basic turn patterns. The student should be able to find and keep the rhythm while dancing. In this course you learn how to lead/follow and we continue with longer turn patterns. We introduce more footwork (steps you do alone) and double spins.

Intermediate:
For the student that has no problems dancing salsa and is interested in learning longer and more advanced turn patterns. The student should be comfortable with the salsa rhythm and understanding expressions like cross body lead and open break. In this course we continue practicing the double spin. You also learn how to do footwork combinations that you use when dancing alone.

Advanced:
For the student that is already a good dancer and is interested in more advanced turn patterns and styling. Styling is what you add to your dancing to make it look cleaner and to make it more advanced. The turn patterns you learn here demand very good technique and balance. The pace of the course is high!

Performance Class:
For the advanced student that wants to be part of dance group. You work with a choreography to a special salsa song. The choreography is to be presented after the course in front of an audience. In autumn the coreography will be presented at Hot Salsa Weekend. The student should have time to practice with the group at other occasions if necessary.

Ladies styling:
Only for ladies of intermediate and advanced levels. This course is specially designed for ladies who need to work on posture, styling, balance, spinning and footwork for ladies. We will also work on a short choreography, performing after the course is voluntary. The student should bring high heel shoes and a skirt, to be used at certain moments only.

Salsa Teens:
Salsa class for you between 13-17 years old. None prereqiusutess.

Salsa Kids:
Salsa class for you between 8-12 years old. None prereqiusutes.

Latin Mix:
The course include bachata, merengue och cha cha. None prereqiusutes.

Private lessons are a perfect way of improving Your dancing.
Both beginners and advanced dancers can take private lessons.

You can book private lessons with our instructors. To book a lesson just call the instructor You have in mind.

The price of a one hour private lesson is  400:-/person and 600:-/couple.

Salsa lessons at Your company is arranged by Stockholmsalsadance. If You want the lessons at Your company, we come to You with one or two of our instructors. We custom-make the lessons after Your wish. If You want to have the lessons at La Isla this can also be arranged after Your wish.

Stockholm Salsa Dance in cooperation with Gröna Lund gives you salsa every Saturday night at Gröna Lund all summer long.

We give classes and social dancing at the fantastic dance venue of Gröna Lund in the center of Stockholm. We start the 17th och May 2008. (During midsummer there is no salsa at Gröna Lund.) The class is included in the entrance fee which is 70:- sek. You can also buy the Green Card that gives you free entrance during all of 2008. The Green Card costs 120:- sek and it also gives you 50% off when the entrance fee is more expensive than usual, 140:- (concerts etc.) If you come before 18.00 or after 20.30 the entrance fee is back to 70:- sek.
